Our Phlebotomy Skills Course is a one day practical workshop which has been specifically designed for medical and healthcare personnel doctors, nurses, midwives, advanced paramedics, pharmacists and dentists, and has been developed in accordance with HSE guidelines and protocols for Phlebotomy in Ireland.

Successful participants will receive an Advanta Safety Adult Venepuncture & Hand Hygiene Certificate confirming their success in completing clinical knowledge of the Adult Venepuncture Programme and will be deemed competent in the clinical work environment and in the skill of Adult Venepuncture.
There are no live blood draws on this course - practice is on manikin arms only.
This course can be delivered privately onsite for groups (contact us to request a quotation).
This course is delivered in English only.
Please note that after completing this course successful participants are required to refer to their own company/clinic policies and protocols to gain the relevant experience in Venepuncture.
This will involve working under a qualified Phlebotomist who will observe and assess their skills and who will ultimately sign off the participant to take bloods.
